TaskRated is run by Backroom Ops, a New Zealand business. We want you to know how the site may make money.
Affiliate programmes
We have applied, or plan to apply, to affiliate programmes run by some tools we cover, such as Grammarly, Jasper, Semrush, Teal, Fireflies and Gamma. We have not been accepted into any of them yet, and no link on this site is currently an affiliate link. If we are accepted and add affiliate links, we may earn a commission when you sign up or buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We will say so on every page that carries one.
Scores are not for sale
Commissions never change our scores. Every rating comes from our own documented test, and tools with no affiliate programme (such as ChatGPT and Claude) are tested and scored the same way. Several tools we may partner with scored lower than tools we cannot earn from.
Advertising
We may show Google AdSense ads in future. Advertisers do not choose or review our content. See our privacy page for cookie details.
Backroom Ops
Each page links to Backroom Ops, which builds this site and offers AI setup services. That is our own business.
